Hi, I am Yutong Lin from NYU Shanghai, majoring in Interactive Media Arts and in anthropology/Gender Study. I am interested in video art, multimedia experience and visual representation politics. I illustrate myself through photography, animation, documentary, web development and more.I am learning to utillize the digital tools for my creation, but always remember to be skeptical of their limitation for humanity. Rather than pursuing solely for optical effects and technical sophistication, visual illustration for me is more about translating my observation and concerns into visual means to address social issues, cultural specificity, and changes in time and space.
